GreenPark Sports Raises $31M as Company Readies for First NFT Drop

GreenPark Sports, the social gaming developer for next generation sports and esports fans, today announced the successful close of a $31M Series B financing. The round was led by Terraform Capital with additional investments from existing investors Galaxy Interactive, Sapphire Sport, SignalFire and ADvantage, alongside key new strategic partners Nassef Sawiris’ NNS Group, Gaingels, DH.VC, and FTX’s Alameda Research, among others.

The investment will further accelerate GreenPark Sports’ product development roadmap, growth targets and mission of delivering the most immersive social platforms for new generations of sports and esports fans to engage with fellow fans and their favorite sports, teams, and players.

GreenParks Sports’ mission is to bring global sports fans together to connect, compete, celebrate and collaborate in a uniquely social and immersive experience beyond what’s been the status quo. First launched in Early Access in January 2021, GreenPark Sports now includes early gameplay for two of the largest professional sports leagues and the single largest esport in the world.

In May, GreenPark Sports announced a new partnership with Immutable, creators of the first Layer 2 for NFTs on Ethereum, to power their upcoming blockchain collectible experience for sports fans across the globe. The first NFT drop as part of this collaboration will be released in the coming weeks as GreenPark Sports builds towards an integration of the NFTs with their core experience in early 2022.
